Howdy All,
I am a stretched Pacer (kinda)type builder, and would like to hear from others that have thought out the engine mount dilemma. After a lot of research of other planes “like” this, I have come to the point that asking others may produce an interesting discussion of the topic. At this phase of construction my numbers are; tail wheel to main gear 16’10.5” 85lbs, left main 86lbs, right main 85lbs. tail wheel to firewall 18’1.75”. Engine will be 0320E2A, prop M74DM, “0” thrust line. My question; from the wing leading edge datum, where should the propeller be for a good CG for this plane?

I might overlay the stretched Pacer drawing on a Super Cub drawing. Might even look at it vs. a Husky.

Dakota Cub used a maule mount on theirs. I believe their fuselage is the same length as the SC.
