No folks, "tagging" is not what gang members are doing to the side of your hangar, it is a great way to organize and search through all of the information contained in the forums. Each person has the ability to "tag" by adding tags that make sense to that post. It is a little like filing or categorizing, you can then view and search the "tag cloud" (bottom of the search area) and simply click on things like "exhaust" to see all the posts related to that.

Anyone can "tag" a thread, and it is a great way to be able to find stuff later.

Here is more info on "Tags" from the handy dandy FAQ link: TAG INFO
Hey folks, here is some handy stuff to know!

1. To change your time zone, go to "settings" in the upper right when logged in, then go to "forum settings" and set your time zone. You may want to set some other handy features in here too!

2. Under settings is also where you can upload an avatar and a profile picture, as well as put photos in your personal albums.

3. You will see that you have "friends and contacts". If you have ever used Facebook or a similar application, this allows you to mark certain others as "friends" and be alerted when they post.

4. Lots of questions are answered in the FAQ link above on the main forum screen.

More helpful hints as I think of them, or add your own!

Well I know I have been promising an upgrade for a long time and thanks to SJ's efforts it is here. Cathy and I have had a lot of fun playing around with it and we are anxious to see what all of you think. Not only do I think you all will like the new Forum format but the Blogs will make following the progress of many members projects fun and educational too. It will take a little getting use to but I think everyone will like the new look and the features that come along with the upgrade. As usual we are all open to your suggestions and questions so check it all out and let us know what you think.

Thanks.
