Fuel sending units/Tri Pacer

Rate this Entry
Good evening,

I would like to get the fuel sending units from my fuel tanks rebuilt. Does anyone know a company that provides that service. I know I can time the burn etc -but would still like some accuracy of the fuel gauges.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks, Marsha

From what I've read, these fuel level gauges are routinely inaccurate. FAA only requires them to be accurate when they read Zero. Mine met that criteria. I installed an Electronics International FP-5L on recommendation from Steve Pierce and have been very happy with it. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...lowprimary.php
The K-factor is adjustable so you can get very accurate fuel flow, and remaining fuel readings. One of the best mods I've made to my '56 PA22-150.
