Did not get pictures of the following.... completed compass mounting and installed glare shield, installed belly panels under landing gear, installed hat rack above baggage area, installed control wheels, adjusted horizontal and vertical rigging and started to install elevator surfaces.
Firewall is sealed up...
Breather tube installed...
Cabin heat duct installed which completed the engine installation...
This one is a bit dark.. doors on... every major component is now on the aircraft... need to rig all the controls to specs, safety wire turnbuckles and key all necessary castle nuts... weigh the aircraft and then the most difficult part.. paperwork...
What is the gain from the gap seals? Decrease stall speed? I would assume it helps maintain airflow in that area and would allow for slower flight... if it's a big gain it doesn't look like a difficult mod, or is it?
