I'll look but it is just a mirror image of the left door. We found on my Dad's Clipper that fitting the sheet metal on the door that seals in flight was difficult to get at the right angle when closing the doorto seal but not bind because of the angles. Replicating the left door hinges allows the door to come completely out of the opening and the sheet metal doesn't need an odd angle to keep from binding.

Thanks Steve, how did your door skin fit, did you flush fit it to the boot cowl?

That looks much better. I wondered why they went with piano hinge over actual hinges like the rear door. That way you can actually remove the door

Have made decent progress. Fuselage all inspected, primed and painted. New wood stringers made and varnished, forward floor replaced, instrument panel mostly re-wired up with new Garmin transponder and encoder, tkm radio and intercom. Good progress! Now things can go back together!

just trying to figure out where to find some kydex for the interior, one hydrasorb to replace my flat one, and a stabilizer to trim link tube.

Steve - I know this is a dated thread. I have an interest in your door hinge adaptation for the front door. I've sent you a pm if you get a chance to check your inbox.

Same as the rear door, just copied the thickness replicated them. Maule uses an AN eye bolt through the door frame rather than welding a hinge.

Steve - I had a couple questions re: hinges. I didn't want to hijack Wbaad's thread to ask them here, hence the PM. Thanks
