PA-22 bench seats available
I have a friend w/ front and back seats from a Tripacer. He asked if I knew anyone who might want them. He is not looking to sell. Just give them to someone who might use them. Located near Ithaca, NY. Larry

Re: PA-22 bench seats available
I am interested in the front seats if he will split them, if not maybe could take the whole thing.

Is this the frame as well? I'm missing my rear completely. Would he be willing to ship?

Re: PA-22 bench seats available
Andy,
Are you in need of the frames or the full upholstered single seats? Larry

I could go either way. Are the front seats separate or the combined bench like the early serial numbers.
Mine has to be the early front seat set up, not the later individual front seats.
Mine need new upholstery and foam and daughter has some material she wants and a guy that can doit, but I'm looking for a way to fly why seats are being worked.

Re: PA-22 bench seats available
Hi Larry,
What year aircraft are they from, and what is color, material and condition please?
1951 through 1955 was the solid bench seat wit a single adjustment knob in center of fuselage cluster.
1956 and newer have split bench, with individual adjustment for left and right.
So solid bench and split bench designs are not interchangeable due to different structure in the airframe.
They say a picture (or several) is worth a thousand words....
Thanks,
GG

I should have the seats in my hangar by Sunday. Will let y'all know more about them then. Larry

Re: PA-22 bench seats available
I just purchased a 1954 Tri-pacer without any seats. Probably need the bench type in front. Dennis

Re: PA-22 bench seats available
Larry, Simone close to me offered me a seat so at least the rear can go to someone who needs it. Looks like maybe Dennis?
