I am listing my 1961 Piper Colt which is in great condition. Steve recently put on the Casper Labs Spin-on Oil filter kit. The engine is currently at 843 SMOH with the cruise prop installed. Also comes with a climb prop. Sealed wing lifting struts. Last recover 1991 and paint was in 2008 but it looks much newer and has been hagared, Exterior 9/10. Interior in 7/10 normal wear and tear. seats are in good condition with no rips and carpet is just getting old. Zipper broken on headliner but other than that in fair condition. Avionics consist of a Garmin 250XL GPS and comm radio which was recently sent off to Garmin due to the screen blanking. They replaced the LCD with a new one and works great. KT76A Transponder with a new encoder. All gauges and instruments work. Aircraft flies great and was a wonderful first airplane but I travel a lot which requires much more SPEED! So, I am building a VAN's RV-14 to fill that role and is the reason for the sale. Logs for the Airframe and Powerplant start Aug 1968 with 643.0 TT. No known damage history. More photos and info available upon request. Aircraft is located in Central Texas at KTPL.
