Our hangers back up against one another! He has two Super Cubs I drool over every time he opens the hanger door. Of course they are flanking a Mig 21, 310 and I believe a Pitts!

thought he got rid of the Mig, he used to have a Baron, gave him some dual in that right after he got it. Please say hello from Andy, we used to fly in the ANG together many moons ago.

Here are a couple quick pics from the past week. The panel mock up that I am toying with seems to change everyday! I thought it would be nice to lay it out in life size so I can sit in front of it and decide what I like and don't like. You can see in the one pic how the stock struts obviously were coming up short due to the wide fuselage so the new ones are ready to go now. While my engine is near 0 SMOH the intake pipes were looking ratty.... Blasted them and got them painted up yesterday while it was warm out.

    Hey Guys,
Most of the time it is the quality of the painter not the quality of the paint
Anything from a rattle can to high$$$$$$$ polyurethane will work IF you know how to use them.

Finally getting the new aileron cable routing done this week. Had pulley brackets water jetted out for the lower front and rear brackets and had to make a new standoff for the top brackets. The top brackets do not show the pulley guards installed yet. The hope is to have them done by this weekend and then take the fuselage to the paint booth for repaint to match the wings. If all goes well I am hoping to have it up on gear for the final time by mid next month and start mounting wings. Been working a ton of OT so I can order the Sutton exhaust and a set of RV-6 baffles.

Did not have time to send the upper pulley cable guards out for water jet so I made them in house...
