    Mine was upside down. Flew it that way for eight years with no adverse affects. Didn't realize it was upside down until I stripped the fuselage for restoration and to do SB819.

    I had full trim range. I always trim for landing. It trimmed up nicely at 60 mph as well as 115 except the single groove trim pulley slipped at 115 mph hence the new double groove pulley in the previous picture.

    I don't have balanced elevators so the Clipper may react differently with the trim yolk upside down.

    Even with the jackscrew upside down it's still trims out at 65 and 125

    Is it possible the elevator bracket is put in upside down on 150 hp colt conversion because you need more down trim because it cruises faster?
