Battery being on Right side should make the Right side heavier I would think.
Landing light, associated wiring on that side... Oil cooler is on the left baffle also... ELT left side of baggage hat rack... Svenns's light weight battery also...

Don't ask me how this happened on our PA-20 Pacer after all the Mods,. First time for me, but both mains were the same @516# ( never again) and the tail wheel at 75# for a total of 1107# Yes lighter than when we started.

For some reason I looked at a weight and balance on a Pacer with 36 gallons of gas. Thought that seemed kinda fat.

Right leg heavier than the left seems to be the norm Both of my Short Wings are heavier on the left side.
I weighed the Clipper when I first got it. Weighed it after the engine upgrades and again after the total restoration. Always heavier on the left.

The Pacer is pretty much done and ready to fly... Friday was spent getting the controls adjusted for feel and correct travel... Paperwork has also being worked on... 337 for all STC's and repair completed... Andy is here and ready to go for flight early next week...

As for the weights... I have several other Pacer W&B forms saved and all of them are heavier on the left gear... Just a Piper thing...

Ok, I give and will ask the question. Why the PA-20 data plate over the PA-22 plate?

My opinion, I think the guys that rebuilt in 1985 probably got that newer tag and did it wrong. IMHO

So technically your calling it a PA-20 with a PA-22 serial number. So AD compliance would be fun to do. My FSDO wanted me to do the same thing to my conversion and re register it as a PA-20. I told my inspector to do an AD search and conformity inspection to the type certificate. He dropped the idea since you could not
