Steve, what's the situation with finishing steel parts after bead blast? I can't cad plate due to toxicity, so is it OK to gold zinc plate and then epoxy prime and paint?

Dakoota Cub plates their wing parts but I have had issues getting primer to stick to it.

Brian.....let me check today. I might have an extra flap, as I have been buying surplus control surfaces, repairing and recovering them to sell for several years. Got so much stuff I just don't remember what is there.

    Brian.
I have the following parts, if my interpretation of the writing on them is correct:

    819-22-
    -08G x2
    -10 x2
    -07T x2
    -09
    -07H
    -04B
    -08D
    -05G
    -04C
    -07C

Let me know where to send them.

Brian, I checked my parts hangar and I don't have an extra flap. Thought I did, but I must have already gotten rid of it.

Brian.....how do you treat the corrosion found on the aluminum. Both removal techniques and treatment to prevent it from reoccurring.

First, thanks for looking into your spare parts...

Scotch bright off the heavy stuff, finish with wire bush until clean... Epoxy prime the surfaces before re-assembly of the hinges...

    Brian
