    Default Swept Wings...Kinda Short...

Just watched this video again, and I invite all to enjoy it too! I think my favorite scene occurs at approx. 40:45 where you get to watch this 92 year old legend show he still "has it"!

Great video. Thanks for posting Mark. Bob's book is one of my all time favorites. He is a true gentleman as well.

No doubt about that Steve - I met him for the first time in Tasmania when he came to Australia in 1998 to demonstrate his skills and act as starter for the short lived Country Club Casino air races. He was just strolling along on his own so I asked for an autograph. We chatted for perhaps 15 minutes and all he wanted to talk about was my flying history, when I learned to fly and where, what aeroplanes I had flown and what I was doing now. Not once did he make me feel I was intruding or wish to talk about his own exploits. I have caught up with him since (Oshkosh) and he is an absolute gentleman!

Grandson and friends spent around an hour with him at Oshkosh.

Grandson was also at The Living Legends Of Aviation Gala with him on his 90th birthday.
