    Default Canadian Aircraft History

For all you north of the border. Looking for records
for my Fleet Canuck. Logs only go back to the late seventies.
Does Canada have anything similar to the records
you can get from the FAA on CD?
    Thanks,
    Dave

We have the Canadian Civil Aircraft Register: http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/saf-sec-sur/...c/RchSimp.aspx. It only gives the current and previous owners back to about the 70's. Not nearly as much detail has the FAA has available. There may be other sources that I don't know about.

You can contact transport canada and they can give you a photocopy of the airplane records they have on file. . Which will have all the same stuff that is in the faa package. . Ie all the major mod reports, ownership history, etc.. I had to bring a letter into their office, I think, requesting the information.
