    Default Engine and Airframe questions

Looking to buy a couple of Lycoming engines. First one is a 0-235C1B that was involved in a prop strike, there are no logbooks.
Second engine is a Lycoming 0-320A2B with about 165 hours since major overhaul back in 1965, has logbook, it was disassembled for IRAN and magnafluxed, no prop strike but it needs to be put back together. Looking for recommendations on how to proceed with these.
What is your thoughts about an airframe that was involved in a post crash fire ?

Lack of logbooks is not a big deal if you are going to overhaul since everything will be verified. Fire in a tube and fabric airplane can effect the tubing if it got hot enough. Had a Champ once that caught fire in a hanger. Burned all the fabric off. Wings were trash but fuslage tubing was ok.

See if the tubes are soft, punch a good tube and then punch something on that fuselage.
