Are you literally building a set of wings from scratch? Will you be documenting the build?

Yes.... Will not start on the wings until I've finished building the powerhouse. Need to get the generator we're running now into the new building and reconnect to the heating system for my buildings....it's getting cold! Then install a new marine genset...plumb that...including a third water to water heat exchanger for the hanger and a remote water to air heat exchanger to waste the heat I don't use to the outside. Making it chimp proof....and....the new spray foam gun came in today...need to look at the weather forecast to determine when I'll finish spraying the foam insulation in the Hanger.

Holy crap! How does one afford to run a generator full tilt like that?

Not cheap. Just over 15,000 gallons per year. Diesel cost is right at $0.65 per kWh. Residential and commercial rate is $0.95 per kWh. State of Alaska will be subsidizing the cost next month for residential consumers....called power cost equalization. That'll probably go away due to the states budget deficit.

Last I checked Mark is the Mayor / town leader and all these improvements are for the town....

That man can outwork me to the ground, I sometimes wonder when he finds time to sleep..
