    Default Windsheild

Are the Pacer Tri-pacer and Clipper Windsheilds the same/interchangeable? If so Looking for a good usable windshield for a Clipper, preferably near Nevada, I'll pick it up as shipping these days are outrageous.

Windshields are not that expensive. I would purchase a new one.

A used windshield very well may not fit your opening or be able to be cut down to fit. New ones have to be cut to fit your airplane.

Most windshields I remove come out in pieces. I would not go through the effort to install a used windshield.

Ok, I thought it was worth a shot. i did have good results putting in a bareley used Ceebailey windshield (looked brand new) in my C-140 since the guy selling it didnt like the green tint. fit like a glove with no trimming.

I tried 2 new windshields in a tripacer 10 years ago... First one broke. 2nd one would not fit. I ended up putting the old original back in.

Normally you have to do some significant trimming. They make them oversized due to the irregularities of steel tube welded 60 plus or minus year old fuselages.
