White duct tape has always worked for me. It's also easily adjustable based on current conditions.

The metal tape leaves less residue when you remove it but duct tape worked good for me also. 1 in of tape was usually good for 20 degree oil temp change. Add/subtract as needed for fall/spring.

Looks good, 104 here yesterday. Hanger is like an oven.
Had a nice moment at the hangar yesterday. This signaled the conclusion of the annual without any significant issues. 20180717_080201.jpg

The picture I posted is of Runway 27 Wittman Field but during January. Can you see the Green dot way down there by Taxiway B3? Kinda hard to see under the ice n snow.

Heading to Phoenix Friday to help my daughter move. Not looking forward to the "Dry Heat". Fortunately she's going to Denver so the back half of the move should be fine.

I saw the thread title, and having suffered though this summer, I can only hope this is not a false alarm.
Erie isn’t busy setting any snow accumulation records this year but we’ve had some cold nights. Beautiful day today and was able to take advantage of it. Took a few circles for the transponder to warm up and ATC to find me and my Vacuum Pump was at about 6.... any ideas about the vacuum?
