This brings up a question that I don't have an answer. Can an STC be transferred? I have wondered about this since many STC'S have an N number and serial number stamped on the document. But, is there really a rule against selling?

I do it quite often. Just have to call the STC holder and they will reissue the paperwork with your N number. That way if they have to issue any service bulletins they can contact everyone with the STC installed. Most charge for it.

Hey guys....thanx for the intrest...just rooted through the filebox that came with the aircraft and found the forms to be filled out and returned to univair for their permenant file regarding the assignment of this stc to the above named customer.
Also the faa 337 form needed to make modification complete.
Anyone seriously interested pm me your em address and i will send you pics of these forms.
