Wanted: Old Narco VRL-3 Low Frequency radio head for restoration
Hello Forum
I am restoring my 1958 Tri Pacer to completely original spec in anticipation of judging and would like to put the panel back to its original spec as well. While I am putting a 530 in the panel for real use I am creating an overlay panel with the face of a Narco Omnigator (which I have) and a Narco Low Frequency radio under it to apply over the Garmin with stand offs for judging purposes. Does anyone know of or have one of these old style Narco radios around (of course I don't care if it works). The radio looks like an AM radio on the front. Let me know if anyone has one for sale.

That brings back memories. The Tripacer I learnt to fly in in 1964 had one of those crank handle thingies. Only ever saw it used once--by the instructor, of course.
