Considering Comanche 180 to keep my short wing company in the hanger. Going to look at one tommorow.
Taking my checkbook. Have I lost my mind?

I would suggest taking an experienced Comanche-oriented AP with you. There are several big thing to check with the gear and some other items that could cost you a lot of maintenence if not caught or pointed out to you.
