I am nearly ready to start applying Ceconite fabric to my Vagabond fuselage.
I need to do the interior first and I have all the old grade A fabric so I can check/remind myself the sequence in which to apply the new fabric.
Any tips/tricks/best practice to pass on?
I think I saw on here a method of creating a sewn loop, which is then cut to provide fabric "tabs" to go round the tubing ( a poor description..)
Is that the best way to wrap the cabin interior fabric around the tubes?
Or just glue individual pieces and then tape etc.?

I was going to do the sewn seam thing you describe on the rear baggage corner areas on my Clipper but I ended up doing separate pieces then laid a tape down the seam or tiny gap, there needs to be a tape there anyways and it came out really nice. image.jpg Before tapes laid for view.
Flip through the pictures on Steve's Aircraft Facebook page. Brian has some nice pictures of the process of doing the interior. It made it easy when I did mine.
On a side note I am applying a new fabric to my PA17, does any one have a picture of the left side interior with the seat out of the vagabond. The drawing has worked well to this point however I am uncertain on the fabric routing on the left side interior. Drawing Number 11646 shows everything clearly enough, just what panels do get fabric and don't on the left side under the seat is not so clear. 11646.jpg
