Trying to find '56 Tri-Pacer nut plate part numbers for engine cowling and wing tank covers...Thanks in advance.
I get those parts from an aircraft supplier like Aircraft Spruce. Don't need Piper part number.

I don't remember if they are 8- or 10- but this is what I used for the tank cover sides, work well, last long time. I know I used the 6-32s for the landing light.

Well I have already thrown away my old original firewall with the nut plates attached. I think they were a countersunk #10 plate. Like these. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...ickkey=3008765
I used a #10 std. nut plate for a replacement on the new firewall.
Works fine.
