The Bushmaster is a fuselage stretch and wing stretch to a late model PA-22. It basically turns the plane into a 4 place Super Cub, similar to the PA-14.
We are missing these drawings to complete the set:
Hey Stephen
Cool project of yours - looks neat and flies so right from what you have found so far.
I would be happy to contribute some $$ to help out if I could get a copy of the plans for use at a later date.
Cheers

Someone want to email me a postal address that I can contribute $$ to ?
Just send donations to the SWPO, and state Bushamaster Fund on your check.
What is more important is finding some of these lost drawings so we can get them scanned in. If you know of someone who might have them, please let them know I will return them undamaged. I only need them long enough to get them scanned.
Hello
yes, I started an experimental project in canada, before I sold it and moved to France. I bought the plans to Bushmaster manufacturing (Person’s name Bill Smith).
The documentation is composed of drawings and the following certificates:
• STC# SA819SW – Installation extended wings & fuselage ; drooped
wing tips, modified landing gear or Edo 89-2000 floats
• STC# SA2355NM – Installation of two 30 gallon tanks for a total
usable fuel of 58 gal.
• STC# SA936NW – Installation of a Lycoming O-360-A1A
There is also drawing for the additional door (but without stc certificate).
The plans are of large format, of reasonably good drawing quality and
detailed. The wing extension can be made by splicing the original or by
using a long spar blank from Piper oem.
Please ask for any question; I can call also if you prefer.
Thanks
Jean-Charles
This guy was trying to sell plans about a year ago, he probably still has them.
Yep, I contacted Jean-Charles back in January. Seems there was some similar issues he had to what others have experienced regarding disparities with the STC and drawings. Hopefully we can work towards eliminating some of these issues. I'll shoot him another email to see what all he has and whether we can work something out...
BTW, it looks like Ms Audrey Simpson owns only STC SA819SW. Although her husband may have developed the engineering data, and received approvals for the 30 gallon fuel tanks and O360 engine upgrades, she does not own these STCs (see attachments). This is a pretty convoluted mess, so keep it in mind if you decide to proceed down modifying your plane per these STCs.
Thanks!!!
