Beautiful bird, I was eyeing it online before choosing one a bit closer to home! Looks like a great STOL machine. Congrats!

I'm curios about the pants too Steve. You can still step on the tire to climb in. I have regular pants for my Tri but never use them. Too much of a pain to step over.

Congratulation to the new Tripe. Looks really nice. Enjoy the flight home, the weather here in Northern Virginia is supposed to be nice for the next couple of days.

I noticed from your profile that you are based at Culpeper. I'm based at Winchester (OKV) and organize fly-outs for our local EAA Chapter 1031 (www.eaa1031.com) Our next fly-out is on October the 14th to fly the Hudson Corridor. Take a look at our Web-Page at the fly-out reports. Send me a PM if you are interested to get on my E-mail list about the fly-outs.

Good looking 57! Love the "speed spats" as I've seen them called. I have VGs on my 22/20 and really like them.

Have a safe and fun trip home!

I, too am interested in the speed spats. When you get her settled in, could you post some close ups of pants. Any 337's would be a bonus.

I love the look of your bird. I am sure that you're going to enjoy flying her home! I was out of Stafford for several years and used Kevin @ Whitehawke Aviation for maintenance. Being at Culpepper I am sure you are familiar with them, but they took great care of my girl and I recommend them!
