Googled the tail and found a couple interesting things. Gonna take a little extra time and tripple check I get the seat latched correctly when putting it back in, that is a scary thought, and must be when they put the Ferguson tips on.

No info about this just shows the record http://planecrashmap.com/plane/az/N7492K/

The O-235 off my Clipper went to a 115 hp Pacer in Oklahoma.

the data tag says 100 hp at 2600rpm, the C1 is 108 hp I think and the spark advance is 25 degree not 20, I thought the o-235-C was the same as the -C1

This is the data tag on the 235-C1 engine in my Clipper. It is exactly as you remember.

The O-235-C was deleted from the TCDS because it was canceled back in 1947. The C1 and C1B are the same except the magnetos. Beyond that, you would have to contact the Manager,Propulsion Branch of the New York Aircraft Certification Office, Federal Aviation Administration. (Taken from TCDS E-223, rev 21.)

If memory serves me correctly the C has a different cam and carburetor than the C1 and C2. Parts manual can probably verify.
