    Default Tubing Mod

I know I have read in the past someplace that there is a mod for the tubing behind the instrument panel that removes or replaces the geometry of the tubing to allow more room for deeper instruments to be placed in the instrument panel without the interference from the tubes. Anyone help me out here?

    Thanks,

    Bill David

I think you are referring to the Jag Air STC. Can't find much about it.

I really don't have much to add other than to say SA352NE (same STC but for PA-22) was installed in our plane before we purchased it. It was done during the TW conversion and the 337 doesn't give any more details other than saying:

Modification of airframe in accordance with Joseph A. Gruber, D/B/A Jag-Air Drawing List, Revision 2, dated April 26, 1985. This modification in accordance with STC SA352NE.
Not really sure what is involved but here's a picture of our panel.
