First snow 2017
Had a little snow the last couple days but last night it dumped a good foot of the heavy kind! If this snow was on a cub wing there there might have been some crying and AMU's spread around.
Feeling a little guilty because I am trying to decide weather to get the boards on the Batplane or XC skis on my feet!

Re: First snow 2017
The snow on the tail was heavy enough to lift the nose wheel off the ground? That's some dense snow.

It honestly doesn't take much snow to lift the nose. Lots of guys stack old car tires under the tail if they aren't going to be around to broom the snow off.
I got 2 inches of rain from that same storm. Supposed to get 2 more inches today. The best part is you don't have to shovel rain.

Re: First snow 2017
I've seen every flavor of spam can sitting on it arse but never the Batplane.
It is usually blowing when this kind of snow falls... and yes my arms are sore from shoveling. Back in my Cali sking days we called this kind of snow Seirra Cement.
Sorry you boys up thread don't care for the cold. It's gotta beat your 100F flying

Yeah I love it when the the AWOS states,"altitude density minus 2,500 ft."!

Send some of that my way, been a little light the last couple of years. Barely break 100". I'd love a Halloween snow.
