Default Pacer Beats Them All in Pumpkin Bombing

$piker won the pumkin drop at the Wichita Valley Airport on Saturday. Pretty stiff wind and a cotton field with a white SUV as the target. Lots of fancy maneuvering by several pilots but Scott was able to just fly the airplane and got the closest to the target. Lots of Jet jockey's from Sheppard Air Base were jealous.

I was planning to take the door off to do a pumpkin drop last weekend but decided the weather would not have allowed flying without a door and still having feeling in the fingers for the "bomber". I've been wanting to give it a try for a while now, but it just hasn't worked out yet to have a chance to do it. Although we did try seeding some soybeans one year that way, and it was interesting. You'd think they would spread out with all that wind, but they all fell in a bunch.
