Thanks to all! I had thought perhaps the best route would be to have it re-faced; it works fine, and has that Kollsman window adjuster as well. (Isn't that an "extra" option?)

I'll get in touch with rudy instruments to see what can be done.

Dang Walt. You've got a lot of unused Airspeed there.

Do you have a asking price? I'm still in need of AS indicator.

This whole thread has got me questioning my AS indicator. Mine is off at low speeds - indicates too fast. It used to jump around, but I hooked up the static port to the actual static system and it steadied it down nicely. But the low speed error is a problem. Sitting in the hangar, the needle sits on the 40 mph mark, which is the first mark on the dial. From your various pics included, I'm thinking my static needle position is shifted, and should be pointed straight up. From your comments, I'm assuming it is not recommended to take a screwdriver to the gauge and try to adjust it myself. So, I'm interested in acquiring a good working one to replace mine while it's sent out for recalibration, as I don't want to be grounded. Anyone have a good working one calibrated for a stock '56 PA-22-150 they'd like to sell? Anyone? Thanks in advance.

    I sent you a PM.

You can have the AS. Send me you address. I'll send it to you and if it meets your needs make some small further donation to SW.O.
