    Default Bubble windows

I would like to put Bubble Windows in the Pilot Side and in the right side door. Has anyone done this? Would like to increase pilot side window to the tube below the lower window frame.

Hmmm, I've never seen them on our short wings but the idea sounds intriguing...

I have seen this concept before.
Made contact with a guy some years back when I started gathering info for my project - I think I still have it and will go back through my stuff to find the info.
He sent me a number of photos and some notes on how he did it.
Actually it was a pretty mad project and was an eye catcher.

A friend of mine had to mold his own bubble canopy for a Hiller helicopter. He basically built a oven and vacuum formed them. Sholudn't be to hard to make a frame add vacuum to one side and heat it. The biggest problem would be distortion.

Found these pics so far - apologies for the quality as they were low res when I got them
Have an email and more pics and will post them when I find them.
These ones are blown not vacuumed and the guy made up a jig the same as a door frame with air going to it. All is explained in the email when I find it.

That seems like a neat plane. I wouldn’t mind hearing more about it if anyone has any details.

I found the build blog for the bubble window 2+2.
Interesting in that the bubble windows added 8" of cockpit width.
