    It was, and I can only encourage everyone to do it at least once (day or night).

    I actually like to fly at night. Most of the times the air is very smooth. I prefer to fly over populated area with all the city light to look at. Better yet is to be above a broken cloud layer with a full moon illuminating the cloud tops and cities underneath. We are very fortunate to be able to afford a hobby like this and have the freedom to do it.
