I did another Hudson River flight in November last year. This time I had a friend of mine in an RV-12 flying close to me taking some pictures. I also have a nice 20 minutes video of my Pacer flying the corridor. Anyhow, I know everyone likes pictures, so here they are.
Hey HOW CAN you do that?????????????????????? Haven't you heard about the crowded sky around NYC
Doesn't look to crowded to me.
REALLY looks like a GREAT flight. GOOD for you.

I just close my eyes when another airplane gets too close to me
I also flew the Hudson at night in 2016, I'll post some pictures tonight or tomorrow.
As promised, here are some pictures from my November 2016 flight at night. I checked my logbook, I flew the Hudson a total of eight times so far. First time was 1994 with my father, brother and sister in law when they visited from Germany. You can imagine how it felt for them to fly a small airplane right up and down Manhattan.
This flight at night was the most breath taking of all of them. The view of the big city (flying by at 800 feet) with all the lights was almost overwhelming. There was not much going on as far as other air traffic. The radio was almost silent. Even though I used a DSLR camera with a pretty good lens, the pictures don't really show how magnificent the view was. If you look close, in picture #4 you can see the Intrepid. You can read a flight report at www.eaa1031.com under the Fly out report Tab.
Fly the Hudson as long as we are still able to do it.
