    Default Mod'ing flaps on a Pacer

    Just wondering if anybody has a STC or has mod'ed the flaps for more degree's of down? Thanks

    The flaps can be adjusted to 46 or 47 degrees. But, the book says 40 degrees and I have not heard of any approval to go beyond the book setting. Flaps do change the center of lift on the wing. I have heard of people changing the flap setting beyond 40 degrees.

    The Cross Wind STOL mod allows for lengthening them into the fuselage as well.

    Thanks guys, I don't see a big gain moding them, the owner wanted me to look into it. The 12&18 have lots more wing to work with and I think the owner was hoping for something like that.
