Vagabond is some what like that, probably like the clipper except less power and speed.
Gilbert can probably relate those two better than I
Andy, exactly..... less maneuverable is more stable......boring. More maneuverable is less stable......exciting. A clipped wing Cub like most short wingers has great roll rates but, do not fly straight very long without adjustments. I was reminded of this when I started flying my stretched Pacer. Less stableis not a bad thing. Unstable is bad....You are correct a Clipped wing Cub is not unstable but,....it is Less stable.

The Vagabond being lighter is even more fun to yank and bank than the Clipper.

It depends on my mission. When I want to fly locally and have fun the Vag is best. If I want to travel and have fun I fly the Clipper. Different missions.
