have flown the clipwing cub, and it is not unstable but much more maneuverable in roll than the regular cub.
Vagabond is some what like that, probably like the clipper except less power and speed.

Andy, exactly..... less maneuverable is more stable......boring. More maneuverable is less stable......exciting. A clipped wing Cub like most short wingers has great roll rates but, do not fly straight very long without adjustments. I was reminded of this when I started flying my stretched Pacer. Less stableis not a bad thing. Unstable is bad....You are correct a Clipped wing Cub is not unstable but,....it is Less stable.
I thought you told me that nothing is better than a Clipped!?
It depends on my mission. When I want to fly locally and have fun the Vag is best. If I want to travel and have fun I fly the Clipper. Different missions.
