    Smile Landing Light Nose Bowl

    Hey Folks!
My little Colt sure could use the Landing light 337 that attaches it to the nose bowl/strut. Do I have any takers?

Here is one that I found online. I know that someone got a 337 for a nose gear landing light and was sharing that with other SWP members. I actually had a light on my nose gear for a while, thinking that it was normal. However, I realized that it was quite unique, and wanted some paperwork for it. On mine, someone had bolted on a plate to the top of the nose gear fork and then mounted a light to that. It sure was interesting. I’m looking to change the installation and reinstall the light. I think Tom T was the one that had the original 337.

Thanks, had not seen one like that. I have seen LED lights mounted on landing gear on airplanes in Alaska but have never seen the paperwork.

People clamp "Go Pro" cameras all over their planes. Small LED flash lights are powerful, I wonder if one them would work with a blue tooth switch clamped on. Some electronic genius should get to work.

I suppose one could, temporarily as an experiment only of course, mount something like this to the underside of the oil cooler opening, and use locking hardware and lockwire to ensure it is secure while it's being tested temporarily as an experiment.

    Hi All
Have seen these on Ebay and have been thinking of setting them into the wings of my exp project.

Hi, we have a Colt with this installation. Attached is a detailed picture, but I know of no STC, as we have considered this to be an original Piper part.
