    Default Sealed or not sealed?

The reinforced wing strut with spot welds every few inches, recently saw a 1950 pacer with those, looked like 5/8 forks so I thought must be sealed struts, but the sealed struts I have seen so far dont have the spot welds?

The only sealed that don’t have spot welds are the Vagabond and the Clipper.

Thank you, the pictures of sealed struts on Univair's website only show the top and bottom ends of the strut and you don't see the weld spots.
