Re: Scott Tailwheel Question
Forrest,
Thanks, that tire will work nicely.
Currently have a Scott 3000 tailwheel assembly on the Vagabond with a 6X2:00 tire, and like it, but it's very old and parts are hard to find.
Found the Scott tail-wheel assembly in the photos that's in very good condition except for the tire.
The spare Scott tailwheel assembly in the photos has D-137181 and TA8B or P on the ID tag, but not much to be found on internet about this unit. It takes the same bearings/axle as my Scott 3000 and has the worn out 6X2:00 tire installed. Not sure about the model or if I can have it installed legally with new tire during next annual. It weighs 6.8 pounds and the Scott 3000 currently on the Vagabond weighs about 6 pounds.

Re: Scott Tailwheel Question
After reading very informative thread will discuss with local A&P/IA about installation of the above tail-wheel in photos during next annual using "AC 23-27 Parts Substitutions for Antique and Vintage Aircraft".
