    Default Brake cylinder

What is the correct brake cylinder for a 51 PA-20 Pacer? I had a rod snap in half below the clevice inside the first couple of threads.

If it is the original cylinder it would be an Electol master cylinder. Parts breakdown etc here.

The parts catalog shows the plunger rod part number 12598-000 fits all years of PA20 aircraft. If you diassmble it you will find that is very simple in design. Press out the small pin that attaches the plunger to the rod and you can see how easy it would be to have a new rod fabricated. Of course it can be done under owner produced parts with an A&P signature. KRN aviation has the Clevis in stock if needed.
