    Default IA in Southern California?

Just made the move from the Chicago area to Southern California (based at KWHP now) - have been looking for recommendations on a good IA for my Tri Pacer since the trip cross country left me with a crack in my exhaust, which needs addressing. Any experience with Able Air? They're the only guys based on my field who seem to do tube and rag work.

Hey, my old stomping grounds and where I learned to fly. But, it's been 40 years since I was keeping my plane there. Back then the repair shop was named Coffin Air Service. Able Air sounds much better.

I had my Private check ride there in 1955. My examiner was Hank Coffin. I suspect that's where Coffin Air Service got its name.

Looks like Hank was involved in the Movie Industry as well:

Small world....and the film industry is what brought me back to LA after nearly a decade in New York. Looking forward to meeting up Brian!
