    Default Continental engine mount rubbers

It is probably mentioned in the Cont. A65 manual (I haven't looked though), but what torque do you use for the engine mount bolts and rubbers?

Or do you just tighten enough to compress the rubbers a bit?

I remember seeing the torque in the manual.

Well, I have now read through the engine manual (twice) and that data seems to be missing.
Manual says (P9) "Tighten the mounting bolt nuts to the torque specified in the Table of Limits. This is very important."
However, nothing listed in the table on P31-32.

However, in another document I have (uncertified copy) - "Detail specification for Engine, Aircraft, Continental, A65 Series 8, 8J, 8F, 8FJ", para. C-6 it says:
"A torque of 60-80 inch pounds should be applied in tightening mounting bolts".

    Does this seem reasonable?

Here is what I have in my manual CUT to O-200. Not sure why it would be different.

    Thanks Steve,

What are the figures written by hand?
    "A-65: 7/16" 400-500 and 3/8" 300-360"?

    Inch pound torque figures?

Likely cylinder to crankcase out of the manual posted above. I think Continental manual X30008 is the most current manual (2011) for the A-65 but I didn't see the mount torque values listed in it.
