    Default Scale for hanger?

What Is everyone doing for a scale for loading weight and balance? Just a bathroom scale? Or just best guestimate. With myself, wife, son and full tanks I will be within 150 lbs of max.sorry if it’s a dumb question.

I've used a bathroom scale. Some years back I took my pre-teen granddaughters home from Tacoma to Spokane, WA. They had been with us for 10 days or so. They had just a "bit" of baggage. I got out the scale and we were within a couple of pounds of gross wt.

I would never have a scale in the hangar, I might be tempted to step on it.

You could use a fish scale. Nah! You might hang your self with it.

I'm going to try to find a non digital bathroom scale to leave in the hanger and a hanging scale to keep in the plane. As a new and paranoid pilot want to be accurate

As an old paranoid pilot I weigh my stuff much to my wife’s chagrin. Especially her stuff.
Other signs of what you might say is paranoia is two sets of tie downs and a spare tailwheel; based on previous experience.

Tie downs are on the list. This is our first first plane, much to learn.
