Tinnerman nuts and felt
Hey everybody,
Working on a Clipper and have a couple of questions for the group. Some of the Tinnerman nuts for the fuselage are missing and I can't find replacements per the drawings part numbers. PN's I'm specifically looking for are 188-M-1 and 105-M-1. Any clue what the modern day replacement for these are?
Felt = the drawings show a 1/8" thick strip felt between the cockpit floor and the fuselage tubes. Any specific felt I should use for this? Source and best glue to use?
Thanks!

Re: Tinnerman nuts and felt
I was thinking it was 1/16" felt SAE 50 which I sell but don't have 1/8". I just use Tinnerman nuts from Spruce of appropriate size for the tab and screw. The ones Piper uesd are wider and shorter that was is now available.

Re: Tinnerman nuts and felt
Steve - thanks! That's what I thought about the Tinnerman nuts, but wasn't sure. I'll hit your website store and order the felt when I figure out how much I need. Any recommendation on the glue?

Re: Tinnerman nuts and felt
I use #M weatherstrip adhesive, black or yellow.
