The famous “Green Dot” is about 100 yards directly behind my stuck car. Plowed the snow along the hangar door with my 1966 Bolens Husky 850 then plowed out car. IMG_1547006857.342481.jpg
"It is only going to get in the high 50s here today vs 71 last Saturady. You can get me back this summer. "
Steve, that's obscene! Our predicted "inconsequential" snowstorm yesterday left us about 9-10" of very heavy wet snow, and now it's supposed to drop into the single digits --above AND below zero-- for the next 6 days....

On the bright side, the Ice runway at Alton Bay should be open. I landed on it last January when the season was very short. I had never landed on Ice before, what a weird feeling it was. Here is a link to my video about the flight: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwQ...ihpE0zmvmbUGgg and a picture attached.
Did Alton Bay with a friend in 2014... here's a few pics, also one of my field, Parlin (2B3), in Newport, NH.
You're right, it is weird. I wasn't landing, but it still felt strange to be landing where a boat should be, especially to a lifelong boater! We even landed on a pond next to the Aeronca Sedan owner's house, with wheels, on 12" of snow on top of the ice - he had no problems (first two pics).
