Not sure how you could slip one of those clamps over the tube and then get it to close again all while reaching up thru the headliner. I liked the two-piece type clamps vs prying one open and closed again. Not sure what is the correct size but this is the style.Originally Posted by Steve Pierce

The ones I put in the Pacer came from Wag-Aero and they are PMA. Looks like they also have a two piece one. I used the one piece since the head liner was already lose due to installing a skylight.

The clamps open pretty easy. Still think it is easier to loop the harness around the spar carry through and seems to me that it spreads to load out over a wider area.

Agreed, that is the simplest solution, cowl tape on the tube to protect the harness?
