I'm nearing the end of my PA22 rebuild and tailwheel conversion. The attached parts were supplied by the Univair kit. After reviewing the instructions and included drawings I am unable to determine intended location or purpose. It's possible that the info was lost during the years since the kit was purchased. I vaguely remember that they were included with the rudder/aileron interconnect parts but could be wrong. Any help is appreciated. (Also submitted the question to Univair).
LPC -1050 drawing shows the rudder return springs along with the firewall eyebolt and attaching tab at the rudder pedal end. Those parts were identified and installed per print.. Parts in question are still left..
Just got a reply from Jason at Univair, who confirmed that the parts are not part of the tailwheel conversion kit list. Not sure how I got that "bonus" but I'm glad it's not just me losing it. I need to keep the mind good enough to fly the Pacer when the paperwork is done. Sorry for the false alarm.
