kind interesting looking up 22-160. Alaska has 53 listed and TX has 31. Most other states are in the single digits.

My Vagabond started life as a PA15.
In 1950 a factory kit was installed to install dual controls, bungee gear and a Continental engine. An FAA inspector signed the annual re-license as it being a PA17 serial number 15-115.
Look it up N4331H. If I remember correctly the data plate has the 15 X’d out and a 17 stamped on it.
The dual controls and bungee gear were authorized for the PA15 TCDS A-800. The Continental A-65 just appeared on the re-license document. This bothered me for while but finally quit worrying about it was approved by the FAA inspector when he re-licensed the airplane.
