Found a shop that will acid etch the attached PIPER logo on a 3" W 3" H .025" aluminum plate.
The original quote was for 20 pieces using the artwork that I supplied. Due to the small quantity that would be $41.47 each, etched, polished and clear coat.
I imagine that if a larger quantity is needed it would drive the unit cost down.
Anybody interested?

This is perhaps not exact: the early models (pre 1955) have the plate as shown in the pic above. Models 55 and up
