Where is this in SD? What is the airport identifier code? Can a stock Tri-Pacer at full gross weight with 6.00-6" tires get in and out safely? I need a flat grass strip at least 1,200 feet long with no trees at the ends. If trees, make it 1,500'. Just askin'...Thx.

    Blackhills Back country flyin
The Blackhills backcountry flyin is September 9-12. Hot Springs SD. HSR

arrival Thursday and evening meal at the airport

Friday morning fly out breakfast at a couple locations. Friday noon lunch at HSR or SD27 airport. Evening meal at HSR

Saturday expect aerial tours of the Blackhills or elect to fly to a number of ranch strips. Lunch will be at various locations including the Game Lodge which has been very popular in the past. Saturday evening meal will be at the airport.

camping is welcome as well as motels are available. Most attendees stay at Hills Inn 605-745-3130 and a number of folks have already registered.
    You
it is important to give Clint a call and let him know you plan to attend. All the food preparers need to know how many meals to plan for. So please let us know so no one goes hungry. Clint’s number is 6058911290. The airport is getting ready, all of the helpers are getting ready so plan on coming to the Blackhills for a fun weekend of flying and fellowship. For those who haven’t been to this fun flyin they have fun fly out tours for every type of airplane. They group the faster planes together on down to the stol planes. And you have options of what you want to do. Beautiful country from the black hills to the badlands

If you are coming to the fly in bring your claw type tie downs we are very dry and the ground is very hard. I don’t think the screw in type downs will work.
