I was contacted by a gentleman with some Tri-Pacer parts in the attic in his garage that he would like to get to someone that can use them. He doesn't want to sell them, just wants someone who can use them to come and pick them up. He made a list of part numbers off of Univairs website. If someone can use and pick up please contact me. Hi all
i picked up the parts in PA. They are now in Mi. I will be posting some more pics, the parts are FREE. I am taking the gear fairings and J Ryd has dibs on the nose bowl. The cowling has the badges on it! I can ship for cost. And I will be driving to Colorado Springs end of April and can drop off on the way. I will also meet somewhere close to mi if needed. The gentleman just wants the stuff used. So watch for pics and let me know what you want. Brian
I need badges for mine, what version are they? Awesome job saving parts!
Only the 1955 PA22-150 had the cowl badges.
I made some reproduction cowl badges, cast in brass.
If you have a 1955 150hp Tri-Pacer and you want a couple, send me a PM.
You will need to polish/paint them, drill and tap them to install on your cowl.
The Piper Drawing CD shows correct colors and location on the cowl.
