Laura (my wife) helping me with the rib stitching a week or so ago. Check out the cool wing rotators that I'm borrowing form a friend (Jerry Burr). The Eko-Fill was finished yesterday and hopefully I'll get the top coat on today and tomorrow. Nov. 10th is a big day for the project. James A Smith is hauling my replacement fuselage with the welding done for the stretch and the landing gear along with a few other thing up to Lopez Island. I hope to have the wings complete and set aside.

Maybe I don't know what I'm looking at, but I can't see the leading-edge cuff. Can you please post a close-up picture?

Yeah, I looked close and couldn't see anything. Steve may be pulling our legs.

    Default Super Pacer no. 2

The leading edge cuff goes on after fabric is shrunk, stitched and painted. I’d didn’t apply the top coat before installing the cuff. There’s a bit of a recess or cove on the bottom side created by the shape of the leading edge cuff.

I have to admit to not be keeping up with my photography. I've been working mostly every day, putting in lots of hours. But. I hate stopping and taking time away from work. I'll try to shoot more. James Smith is bringing the fuselage today! The wings are basically done. I picked up my left 23 gallon fuel that had gotten a small hole in it from the welding shop yesterday.

MM, I am wondering what the XWind cuff will do to performance, if anything. Do you have any knowledge? I just thought I would give them a try.

James A Smith https://superpacer.com/ just delivered my replacement stretched fuselage his work is fantastic. This is a big step for me moving forward with my rebuild. Check out James' website. He is the owner of the Super Pacer STC, and does beautiful work stretching the fuselage. You can see his jig on his website.

Awesome, I met James and his family when they passed through after doing his other job. James builds General Lee cars like from the Dukes of Hazzard and does the stunt driving like jumps and driving on 2 wheels.
